Many usability evaluation frameworks and methods have been proposed for different types of systems. Haptic systems are unique in a way that these systems deal with sense of touch i.e. haptic feedback. The usability evaluation framework for these systems is developed to address the unavailability of such framework in the context of users. This paper presents the empirical findings of two studies to validate this framework. One study is conducted in the domain of medical training whereas the other study is about art-related domain. The results show that the developed framework is useful to evaluate different haptic systems in the context of users. © 2012 IEEE. date: 2012 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84867856100&doi=10.1109%2fICCISci.2012.6297182&partnerID=40&md5=a0de1bd4e9509e59f603de15c556d148 id_number: 10.1109/ICCISci.2012.6297182 full_text_status: none publication: 2012 International Conference on Computer and Information Science, ICCIS 2012 - A Conference of World Engineering, Science and Technology Congress, ESTCON 2012 - Conference Proceedings volume: 2 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur pagerange: 1058-1061 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781467319386 citation: Khan, M. and Sulaiman, S. and Said, A.M. and Tahir, M.
