Many usability evaluation frameworks and methods have been proposed for different types of systems. Haptic systems are unique in a way that these systems deal with sense of touch i.e. haptic feedback. The usability evaluation framework for these systems is developed to address the unavailability of such framework in the context of users. This paper presents the empirical findings of two studies to validate this framework. One study is conducted in the domain of medical training whereas the other study is about art-related domain. The results show that the developed framework is useful to evaluate different haptic systems in the context of users. © 2012 IEEE. date: 2012 type: Conference or Workshop Item type: PeerReviewed identifier: Khan, M. and Sulaiman, S. and Said, A.M. and Tahir, M.
