Technologies have developed very fast which a lot of available applications for the same purposes. Therefore, cross-platform became one of important issue when most of different products not able to communicate with each others. Middleware concept of application has been used to attach the distributed systems. Conventional communicate system's are using synchronous type of communication where some issues arise, such as unable to connect complex system, lack of resource tracking, 24 by 7 availability and low level of autonomic. These weaknesses have increasing cross-platform communication issues and the requirements for generic cross-platform framework motivated us to undertake this research. This paper proposes an agent-based Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) for cross-platform communication in SOA system. The framework supported both synchronous and asynchronous type of communication. The advantage of the proposed framework is that the agents technologies will manage all kind of transmission process such as automatically translate the message into target partner message type. © 2012 IEEE.
