This filter is designed for this research and its main focus is to investigate, analyze, simulate and discuss on the proposed method using MATLAB®. The theoretical and simulation analysis are proven showing that the stepped impedance dual mode resonator allows the construction of reconfigurable band-stop to all pass filter by incorporating the switching element into the filter topology. The new filter is not limited to future systems but also suitable for the upgrade of existing systems. © 2012 IEEE. date: 2012 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84867931084&doi=10.1109%2fICIAS.2012.6306185&partnerID=40&md5=4445f1e8d2fc6338a7d5aa716e72c0f6 id_number: 10.1109/ICIAS.2012.6306185 full_text_status: none publication: ICIAS 2012 - 2012 4th International Conference on Intelligent and Advanced Systems: A Conference of World Engineering, Science and Technology Congress (ESTCON) - Conference Proceedings volume: 1 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur pagerange: 190-193 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781457719677 citation: Adoum, B.A. and Wen, W.P.
