A new model for the mass transfer between phases is proposed, and its efficiency in predicting phase transition is evaluated. Numerical simulations are compared with reference solutions computed with the two-fluid models type. The results suggest that the present model exhibits good robustness and accuracy. © 2012 American Institute of Physics. date: 2012 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84874124964&doi=10.1063%2f1.4757504&partnerID=40&md5=f7281be2b97bdbee25ba0feb57b0835c id_number: 10.1063/1.4757504 full_text_status: none publication: AIP Conference Proceedings volume: 1482 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur pagerange: 408-413 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9780735410947 issn: 0094243X citation: Goncalves, E. and Zeidan, D.
