It was hypothesized that, if mental imagery exists in the participant's mind, the feel of sense of presence in the participants also will be high. A total of 31 participants took part in this study. Significant correlations were found between mental imagery and sense of presence (r = 0.94, p < 0.01). The findings report that, mental imagery in interactivity factors for IBVR environment can be used to enhance the sense of presence among users. As predicted, participants need a picture or image in IBVR environment that can influence their mind to imagine. Therefore, the sense of presence between them will be induced during the experience. © 2012 IEEE. date: 2012 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84870682229&doi=10.1109%2fGUT.2012.6344172&partnerID=40&md5=ff5882dbc3f7901e7c58c538ce2e9f62 id_number: 10.1109/GUT.2012.6344172 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings of the 2012 International Conference in Green and Ubiquitous Technology, GUT 2012 place_of_pub: Bandung pagerange: 153-156 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781457721724 citation: Mohd M., N.D. and Awang R., D.R.
