Normally these reservoirs contain sour gas. To run measurement tools such as wireline logging are very costly, and because of sour gas rapidly corrodes wirelines it may also be disastrous. In this paper, effect of heat transfer is studied on pressure profile in deep gas production wells. The mass, momentum and energy balance equations govern the fluid flow in the wellbore. Wellbore governing equations are solved simultaneous and consequently a procedure is developed to calculate pressure and temperature profiles in deep gas wells. Result indicated pressure drop is sensitive to temperature profile and there is showed how temperature profile can affect on pressure drop in the wellbore.
