The complementary detection technique can eliminate multi access interference (MAI) only if there is a fixed in phase cross-correlation. When the number of users is increased using the mapping technique the cross-correlation between the users, is either '0' or '1'. In this paper a alternative detection method is investigated in order to adapt to such problem and detailed performance calculations are given. ©2007 IEEE. date: 2007 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-48349085115&doi=10.1109%2fICTMICC.2007.4448694&partnerID=40&md5=fc0a1a7599f5189b1e58c5d643848031 id_number: 10.1109/ICTMICC.2007.4448694 full_text_status: none publication: Proceeding - 2007 IEEE International Conference on Telecommunications and Malaysia International Conference on Communications, ICT-MICC 2007 place_of_pub: Penang pagerange: 531-534 refereed: TRUE isbn: 1424410940; 9781424410941 citation: Mohammed, A. and Saad, N.M. and Babekir, E.I. and Elfadel, N. and Aljunid, S.A. and Anuar, M.S. and Abdullah, M.K.
