The complementary detection technique can eliminate multi access interference (MAI) only if there is a fixed in phase cross-correlation. When the number of users is increased using the mapping technique the cross-correlation between the users, is either '0' or '1'. In this paper a alternative detection method is investigated in order to adapt to such problem and detailed performance calculations are given. {\^A}{\copyright}2007 IEEE.} }
