<dc:description>Luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) is a technology employed to solar panels to increase their efficiency by redirecting visible light using a waveguide towards an area of photovoltaic (PV) cells, which will then convert the radiated energy into electricity. In urban environments where spaces are limited, there is a need for more energy generation to meet the demand while also preserving the aesthetic qualities of a building. In this project, the efficiency of integrating an IoT-based LSC PV module that can handle low-energy appliances to be implemented in an urban setting were demonstrated. This study measures voltage and current output from the PV as well as the temperature in relationship to the output power determined by the Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE) between conventional PV module and LSC integrated PV module prototype. An IoT platform was built to visualize the data for the end user that will serve as a monitoring dashboard with complete overview of the performance metrics from the LSC integrated PV module. Through this experiment, an approximate efficiency increase of 2.5 is observed when comparing against traditional PV system without LSC. With that, this project would significantly offer a promising pathway for future discussions regarding the adoption of next generation solar technologies, particularly in urban areas. © 2025 IEEE.</dc:description>
