Automated Performance Review and Information System (A-PRAISe) is a web application which was developed using Java and JSP for the purpose of monitoring staff performance for Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP). The paper explains how the developer designed and implemented the application by combining the generic three-tier logical architecture with the Model-View-Controller architecture and Command Design Pattern. Then, the paper proposes two design improvements for the system and ends with the conclusion of all the works that had been done. date: 2007 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-56149098988&partnerID=40&md5=af6a58618ec80af4005f0083e5b6c569 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings of the IASTED International Conference on Software Engineering, SE 2007 place_of_pub: Innsbruck pagerange: 1-6 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9780889866416 citation: Rahim, L.A. and Abidin, A.I.Z. and Shazi, A.R.
