The chapter emphasizes traditional PV/T collectors, namely air-based PV/T, water-based PV/T and the combination of air and water as working fluids for PV/T systems. Traditional PV/T collectors are essentially the simplest types that were proposed in the literature. Although the combinational type, which utilizes both air and water, is more complicated. Furthermore, the chapter investigates some of the traditional PV/T design configurations that have been adopted at research level. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. date: 2024 publisher: Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85183419889&doi=10.1007%2f978-981-99-9126-6_2&partnerID=40&md5=9a4342c5487664678504b53b41366dc0 id_number: 10.1007/978-981-99-9126-6₂ full_text_status: none publication: Green Energy and Technology volume: Part F pagerange: 19-44 refereed: TRUE issn: 18653529 citation: Al-Waeli, A.H.A. and Sopian, K. and Kazem, H.A. and Chaichan, M.T.
