Ni/FHY possessed good NiO distribution, improved metal-support interface, and strong basicity, accredited to the fibrous structure of FHY. This unique morphology led to the enrichment in the amount of accessible Ni active sites, thus resulting in the superior activity of Ni/FHY (XCH4=95.1,XCO2=91.1,H2/CO=0.89) compared to Ni/HY (XCH4=92.7,XCO2=89.8,H2/CO=0.78). Meanwhile, the inferior performance of Ni/HY could be caused by the poor distribution of Ni with large particles, thus contributing to high carbon deposition and Ni sintering. The unique physicochemical properties and superior catalytic activity confirmed its viability in the DRM. © 2022 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC date: 2024 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85149630268&doi=10.1016%2fj.ijhydene.2022.12.201&partnerID=40&md5=eb57f75e11cf7fad17a6feea1f80c2ec id_number: 10.1016/j.ijhydene.2022.12.201 full_text_status: none publication: International Journal of Hydrogen Energy volume: 52 pagerange: 268-277 refereed: TRUE citation: Miskan, S.N. and Setiabudi, H.D. and Bahari, M.B. and Vo, D.-V.N. and Abdullah, B. and Jalil, A.A. and Muhammad, S.A.F.S. and Ismail, S.B.
