While discussing foremost materials used in construction, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate are the materials that are used adequately. In this paper, we will be showering light on use of polypropylene fibres as an admixture in the bare concrete mixture. Many types of research are carried out in concrete using fibres proportions and different grades. This paper reflects the experimental results, demonstrating that the use of this polypropylene fibres in varying percentage (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2) in M30 grade concrete mix leads to tremendous improvement in various properties of concrete. In this paper, compressive strength of concrete with and without polypropylene fibres at varying percentage has been exhibited for 7 and 28 days curing. The current research work designates the appropriate consumption of polypropylene fibres as a beneficial construction material. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. %Z cited By 0; Conference of International Conference on Trends and Recent Advances in Civil Engineering , TRACE 2022 ; Conference Date: 20 August 2022 Through 21 August 2022; Conference Code:296889
