The model predictive control with soften constraints is used to control the output torques among the components and the speeds of each shafts in order to have fast and smooth clutch engagements for the driving comfort. Comprehensive simulations conducted in Matlab/simulink R2009a have shown that the model predictive control schemes can provide real-time optimal control actions subject to input and output constraints. © 2011 IEEE. date: 2011 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-80155174884&doi=10.1109%2fCCA.2011.6044483&partnerID=40&md5=42a3d747c87bbfbcd9fe58814429b532 id_number: 10.1109/CCA.2011.6044483 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings of the IEEE International Conference on Control Applications place_of_pub: Denver, CO pagerange: 538-543 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781457710629 citation: Minh, V.T. and Aziz, A.R.B.A. (2011) Real-time control schemes for hybrid vehicle.
