The two synchronization algorithms analyzed are Schmidl and Cox technique and double sliding window packet detection. The accuracy and performance of both methods are quantified in terms of mean squared error between the exact and the estimated start of a frame. It is shown that double sliding window packet detection is more accurate and robust compared to Schmidl and Cox technique. ©2007 IEEE. date: 2007 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-57949093902&doi=10.1109%2fICIAS.2007.4658425&partnerID=40&md5=d30ca69d4cdafbaef11c346726c3a3ea id_number: 10.1109/ICIAS.2007.4658425 full_text_status: none publication: 2007 International Conference on Intelligent and Advanced Systems, ICIAS 2007 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur pagerange: 440-443 refereed: TRUE isbn: 1424413559; 9781424413553 citation: Ang, K.L. and Yew, K.M. and Jeoti, V.
