They constantly need help from their parents or guardians to carry them out tasks, thus living skills is important for these children to have to help them become more independent. Therefore, a mobile application is proposed to help children to develop basic living skills. This study explains the design of a Video Modeling mobile app called 'Autism Made Easy' to assist children with ASD who have trouble practicing fundamental self-care skills and to explain the preliminary findings of a study on self-living abilities among children with autism and the difficulties they experience in their daily life. Besides that, this study helps to demonstrate the problems these youngsters were experiencing, as well as the desire to utilize mobile technology to assist the children in learning fundamental life skills more effectively. Nine evaluators participated in the heuristic evaluation and provided feedback on how to improve the user interface of the mobile apps. The findings of the evaluation show that all evaluators agreed on all heuristics. © 2022 IEEE.
