TY - CONF N2 - In this paper, a Machine Translation (MT) model using the Link Grammar (LG) formalism is introduced. The contribution to this formalism is by developing a hybrid of direct and rule-based translation model which is suitable for translating a source language text with its parser into target language text with no grammar formalism and corpus yet. This model can theoretically handle one-to-one, many-to-one, and many-to-many word(s) translations. ©2007 IEEE.
