Due to its ability to disrupt the human endocrine system, continuous monitoring of BPA is crucial. This work aims to develop an alternative microextraction technique known as membrane protected micro-solid phase extraction (MP-μ-SPE) by utilising UiO-66- NH2 as sorbent to determine the presence of Bisphenol A in mineral water. Experimental conditions that significantly influence the extraction efficiency, such as the amount of sorbent, ionic strength, extraction time and desorption conditions, were optimised. Under the optimum conditions, the proposed method demonstrated linearity over 3.38 - 1000 μg L-1 with the correlation of determinations (R2 0.99), limits of detection (1.12 μg L-1) and good recoveries (> 95 ) with relative standard deviation (RSD<5 ). The proposed method was applied to determine bisphenol A in selected mineral water. © 2022 Author(s). %J AIP Conference Proceedings %R 10.1063/5.0079745 %D 2022 %V 2454 %T Determination of bisphenol a in mineral water by membrane-protected micro-solid phase extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography diode array detector %O cited By 3; Conference of 2021 International Conference on Bioengineering and Technology, IConBET2021 ; Conference Date: 24 May 2022 Through 25 May 2022; Conference Code:180045
