However, the partial replacement of fine aggregate in concrete with crumb rubber reflected a decrease in mechanical properties of rubberized concrete compared to the ordinary concrete mix. Concrete is sensitive to the elevated temperature and when it comes to the rubberized concrete, the changes are more significant as compared to normal concrete. With high temperature rubber starts melting which impact in the reduction of mechanical properties of rubberized concrete, thus failure in the specimen occurs. Therefore, in this study, the impact of elevated temperature on the compressive strength and the tensile strength of rubberized concrete has been reviewed. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2021. date: 2021 publisher: Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85100708227&doi=10.1007%2f978-981-33-6311-3_48&partnerID=40&md5=1a5ad3bf4e7b068b46ed98a0c77ab6d0 id_number: 10.1007/978-981-33-6311-3₄₈ full_text_status: none publication: Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering volume: 132 pagerange: 421-427 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9789813363106 issn: 23662557 citation: Alaloul, W.S. and Musarat, M.A. and Hui, C.J.
