This development must be accompanied by a high level of precision in order to function efficiently. This study employs a Grasshopper based Automated Slab Positioning Tool (ASPT) for the early in design stage allocation of construction slab element. In addition, the ASPT tool includes evolutionary solvers that calculate the best combination of slab on the basis of the genetic variation of the slab's physical characteristics, including its dimensions, as well as its fitness in terms of the percentage of area covered by the slabs.
