The Daubechies wavelets were utilized for analyzing the transient nature of solar radiation. The measured solar radiation was subjected to the wavelets techniques for smoothing and filtering of data that was decomposed up to level 5. The findings from this study show that the Daubechies wavelets method can be used for filtering and smoothing of solar radiation. The results presented indicate that Daubechies 10 (D10) wavelet approach is suitable for data filtering and smoothing of the solar radiation data. © 2011 IEEE. date: 2011 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84862058089&doi=10.1109%2fICCSCE.2011.6190591&partnerID=40&md5=86e25e0d0113557ad6c61eabb72b0e63 id_number: 10.1109/ICCSCE.2011.6190591 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings - 2011 IEEE International Conference on Control System, Computing and Engineering, ICCSCE 2011 place_of_pub: Penang pagerange: 571-574 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781457716423 citation: Karim, S.A.A. and Singh, B.S.M. and Razali, R. and Yahya, N. and Karim, B.A. (2011) Solar radiation data analysis by using Daubechies wavelets.
