The variation of the absorbed dose and monomer concentration was used to control the content of the grafted P(NVF). Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to verify the chemical and morphological changes accompanied the applied procedure and boron loading. The fibrous adsorbent with fully hydrolyzed P(NVF) grafts of 120 exhibited a superior boron adsorption capacity of 21.4 mg/g compared to commercial and researched counterparts at pH 7. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd date: 2021 publisher: Elsevier Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85100402564&doi=10.1016%2fj.radphyschem.2021.109362&partnerID=40&md5=7e2ef76daa7e886d7d250e09a5e5c99f id_number: 10.1016/j.radphyschem.2021.109362 full_text_status: none publication: Radiation Physics and Chemistry volume: 182 refereed: TRUE issn: 0969806X citation: Afolabi, H.K. and Nasef, M.M. and Hadi Sapiaa, N.A. and Harun, N.Y. and Ting, T.M. and Hui, T.T.
