TY - JOUR N2 - The sole purpose of academic library is to enhance the teaching and learning environment and to support research activities. Over the years, higher education institutions continually increase the possession of printed and electronic materials for students, academics and staff. With the growth of electronic facilities and resources as well as increasing budgetary pressure, libraries must identify the factors that influence the use of the available materials. This study adopted a structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the preferred reference book format among students (n = 145) at a government-linked boutique university. The result reveals that students' perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use played a crucial role in influencing the preferred library book format whilst the users' attitude fully mediated the relationship between these variables. This study identified also a partial mediating effect of desire between users' attitudes and intentions. Besides, the organizational characteristics had a significant effect on users' perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Overall, by focusing on the underlying mechanisms of the theories of TAM, TPB, and TSR in choosing library resource format, this study developed an integrated model, which contributes to both theories, and practices in library management literature. © 2021 N1 - cited By 16 IS - 5 TI - Integration of TAM, TPB, and TSR in understanding library user behavioral utilization intention of physical vs. E-book format ID - scholars14538 AV - none A1 - Mustafa, M.H.
