The paper investigates a simulation of linear system identification while using wireless links as a signal transfer medium. This paper looks into both periodic and random loss of packets that consist of corresponding input and output data, in order to identify the underlying function of the system. Through the simulation study, ARMAX (autoregressive moving average exogenous) model showed promising results for identifying the system. ©2007 IEEE. date: 2007 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-57949115376&doi=10.1109%2fICIAS.2007.4658574&partnerID=40&md5=0ee6592a6887160a052362815262c62a id_number: 10.1109/ICIAS.2007.4658574 full_text_status: none publication: 2007 International Conference on Intelligent and Advanced Systems, ICIAS 2007 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur pagerange: 1199-1203 refereed: TRUE isbn: 1424413559; 9781424413553 citation: Elamin, M.J.O. and Asirvadam, V.S. and Saad, N.
