Research nevertheless indicates that more could be done to make literature more enjoyable and interactive for learners. Multimedia is one such alternative to make literature more interesting for learners. This study will discuss Malaysian upper secondary students' preferences of the use of web-based multimedia applications for the learning of literature. Students' responses gained via questionnaires are discussed in the paper to give educators a foretaste of the potential of multimedia towards enhancing and developing student interest in learning literature. Implications of the use of multimedia in the upper secondary literature classroom are also discussed in the paper. date: 2010 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-76149126787&partnerID=40&md5=b6ab83697952878343e485772dafa6f6 full_text_status: none publication: European Journal of Social Sciences volume: 12 number: 3 pagerange: 328-335 refereed: TRUE issn: 14502267 citation: Sivapalan, S. and bt Wan Ahmad, W.F.
