To make the right decision need to get the amount of information not below a given level. Information is distinguished not only by its quantity, but also by the degree of heterogeneity, which does not allow its simple summation. Decisions made on the basis of available information are often wrong, and their consequences are negative. Different, including heuristic models are needed, which could calculate the consequences of the decisions taken and predict the result. Decisions are made within the confidential ranges, the values of which reflect the volume and quality of the processed information. A formulation of an optimization task that minimizes the likelihood of making the wrong decision is proposed. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. date: 2020 publisher: Springer official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85075642675&doi=10.1007%2f978-3-030-33585-4_25&partnerID=40&md5=dd6ac86385841f942ceadc7626ed5126 id_number: 10.1007/978-3-030-33585-4₂₅ full_text_status: none publication: Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing volume: 1072 pagerange: 249-259 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783030335847 issn: 21945357 citation: Sinitsyn, S. and Panchenko, V. and Kharchenko, V. and Kovalev, A. and Vasant, P.
