The SW technique is a powerful and simple method based on the feed-forward strategy. The advantage of this method is that it can be employed to improve systems performance with respect to setpoint tracking ability and disturbance rejection capability. The design gives a two-degree-of-freedom controller in which the first degree of freedom gives good setpoint response while the second degree of freedom gives good disturbance rejection as well as good robustness to model mismatch and other uncertainties. This type of controller adequately falls within the class of controllers to solve the problem of stochastic delay, random noise, and uncertainties. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. date: 2020 publisher: Springer official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85085161251&doi=10.1007%2f978-3-030-47737-0_3&partnerID=40&md5=a6797a036a243a8bda943e48f6d38660 id_number: 10.1007/978-3-030-47737-0₃ full_text_status: none publication: Studies in Systems, Decision and Control volume: 293 pagerange: 59-91 refereed: TRUE issn: 21984182 citation: Hassan, S.M. and Ibrahim, R. and Saad, N. and Bingi, K. and Asirvadam, V.S.
