The main issue involved in this study includes assurance of acceptable operating air temperature for the computers in the data center facility (laboratories) when the air-conditioning system is turned off. At the same time, the study looks into minimizing the cooling energy required to overcome the heat dissipated from the CPUs, and thus ensuring conservation of energy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019. date: 2019 publisher: Springer Verlag official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85056204643&doi=10.1007%2f978-981-13-2968-5_6&partnerID=40&md5=20e1398af1fe576c749aa1aae364693c id_number: 10.1007/978-981-13-2968-5₆ full_text_status: none publication: SpringerBriefs in Applied Sciences and Technology pagerange: 73-84 refereed: TRUE issn: 2191530X citation: Sulaiman, S.A.
