Physical properties such as density, viscosity, and refractive index are measured and reported for a temperature range of (293.15 to 353.15) K and at atmospheric pressure. The influence of the alkyl chain on these properties is discussed. The present synthesized ionic liquids show a weak temperature dependency on the thermal expansion coefficient. {\^A}{\copyright} 2010 American Chemical Society.}, keywords = {Alkyl chain; Alkylimidazolium; Elemental analysis; Temperature dependencies; Temperature range; Thermal expansion coefficients; Thermo-physical property, Atmospheric pressure; Atmospheric temperature; Bromine compounds; Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy; Fourier transforms; Ions; Organic polymers; Refractive index; Thermal expansion, Ionic liquids}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-77956504370&doi=10.1021\%2fje901050v&partnerID=40&md5=dc9152a393d43253f5005460eafe0cf9} }
