TY - CONF N2 - This research investigates and explores the level of e-commerce in the organizations of Malaysia and its future intentions to adopt this technology in their businesses, this will also highlight the affect of this technology on the business performance. The changing environment of the global commerce and the improvement of information and communication technologies are providing the chance to the organizations to compete globally. The aim of this study is to highlight the affect of this new technology on the businesses. This study seeks to identify the factors which are affecting on the e-commerce adoption. For the purpose of combining some critical factors in the previous literature and technology acceptance model we have developed an integrated theoretical model. This study presents the managers/owners intentions for the adoption of E-Commerce technology and also highlights critical antecedent factors in the theoretical model and to find out the Behavioral beliefs do managers and owners in Malaysia have towards adopting of E-Commerce. This research provides a comprehensive study about the adoption level, intentions and future potential of E-Commerce in Malaysia and its affect on business performance. © 2010 IEEE.
