This is essential especially when involving information on a large display. The desired information architecture in terms of arranging the information becomes critical and pervasive. The huge interactional space conceives a challenge to the design process. This paper investigates a suitable information structure of a museum application on a large display in order to support navigation. A user study was conducted with ten participants interacting with a museum application interfaces, running on a Microsoft SUR40 tabletop. The study findings suggest that a suitable information structure for a large display depends on the purpose of the navigation. A scattered image concept is more appropriate for specific object finding while a structured tree concept is for information finding in a virtual environment. These findings could be useful for the development of museum interfaces on a huge display. © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. %Z cited By 0; Conference of 5th International Conference on User Science and Engineering, i-USEr 2018 ; Conference Date: 28 August 2018 Through 30 August 2018; Conference Code:217319
