To improve reservoir characterisation, sequence stratigraphy and rock physics have been combined, working toward integrated carbonate reservoir rock types. Dolomitic rock types form the principal reservoir units. Preliminary results suggest the preferred dolomitisation of reefal associations dominated by massive and branching corals, which formed during decelerating sea level rise, stillstand, and eventual fall. © 2018 Society of Petroleum Engineers.
