Abstract
Fire can lead to major financial loses to industries. It is very crucial to develop a reliable method to detect an occurrence of fire. In this paper, vision-based flame detection using motion detection algorithm is discussed. This paper stresses on analysis of fire; including fire classification and fire color pixel. The preliminary results show that vision-based flame detection can be achieved via motion detection method. ©2010 IEEE.
