Abstract

We report layered perovskites synthesized with the addition of long chain ammonium halide to produce layered crystallite perovskite thin film using spin coating technique. This large group ammonium halides act as surfactant that constrains the growth of 3D perovskite crystals during film formation, producing quasi2D layered structure perovskite thin film consist of n =1, 2, 3 and 4 stoichiometrically. n=1 layered structure was chosen to incorporate with polyethylene oxide (PEO) which is a type of ionic conducting polymer to produce more uniform and smooth film morphology. Layered structure with mixture of PEO shows increasing crystallite grain growth thus provide structural properties for light emitting applications. © 2018 IEEE.
