Abstract

This chapter displays the performance of PV/T collectors utilizing nanofluids and nano-PCM based on results and observations from experimental tests and numerical simulations. This chapter is crucial to establishing solid evidence on the performance of this PV/T design. The chapter discusses elements to optimize the performance of the system such as optimum mass flow rate, nanofluid volume fraction and PV/T configuration. Finally, the Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) is described for PV/T systems. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
