In this paper, we consider investigating the increase of the cancer disease in Sudan, using association rule mining techniques. The study has been conducted in Sudan as it's the largest and most diverse country in Africa, which is experiencing a high growth of cancer disease recently. The data used in the study were real patient's dataset of Khartoum Centre for Radiation and Isotopes. The obtained results showed that the top most common cancers in both sexes are breast, lymphoma, leukaemia, and esophagus. The breast cancer continues to be the most common cancer among women (30) followed by cervix (9) and Ovary (7). Among breast cancer patients about 27 of those patients were less than 50 years old. On the other side, the most common cancer affecting males was found to be prostate with (13), coming at the second rank among all cancers in both sexes after breast. Among prostate cancer patients, about 24 of those patients were less than 90 years old specifically between "71-90," followed by leukaemia (11), and brain (7). The results also showed that the breast cancer mostly spread in Khartoum state with (21) followed by Aljazeera state (15). Copyright © 2019 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
