Dr Noridah Binti Osman is a Senior Lecturer at Chemical Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Areas of interest: Biopolymer & Biomaterials Science, Bioenergy & Bio-products, Biochemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, Wood materials chemistry & wood science. She completed her Ph.D in Natural Resources from the University of Idaho, USA. She started as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Center for Biofuel and Biochemical Research (CBBR) and then as a Research Scientist at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Currently, she is a senior lecturer in Chemical Engineering Department. Her research area covers biopolymer and biomaterial science, bioenergy and bioproduct, biochemistry, natural products chemistry, wood materials and wood science, lignocellulosic biomass and bio-composites materials.
