Short Biography:
Dr. Mohd Herry bin Bahador is a Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). He is a Chartered Manager and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), United Kingdom, an Affiliate of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB), a Trade Member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), and a Graduate Technologist registered under the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). His academic and professional expertise focuses on Digital Financial Behaviour, FinTech Adoption, Islamic Banking and Finance, and Business Management and Entrepreneurship. With industry experience spanning banking operations, customer service, risk management, and higher education, Dr. Herry actively integrates real-world industry practices into his teaching, research, and student development initiatives. In addition to teaching and supervision, he is actively involved in research, innovation, publications, and industry engagement, particularly in the areas of financial technology, digital entrepreneurship, experiential learning, and sustainable business practices. He has also served as an advisor, jury member, reviewer, presenter, and project lead for various academic, innovation, and entrepreneurship initiatives at both national and international levels. His contributions have been recognised through several awards and recognitions, including iTaLiiC, Putra iPicTL, TLIF, and the UTP Quality Awards. Through his publications, professional affiliations, and collaborations with industry partners, he continuously promotes the integration of academic knowledge with industry practices.
