Short Biography:
Dr. William King Soon Pao holds a position of Senior Lecturer at Universiti Technologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wales, U.K. Previously he was appointed as Geomechanics Specialist/Reservoir Engineer with Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Houstan US and Rijswijk, Netherlands, Lecturer in Computational Mechanics in School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, The University of Manchester, United Kingdom, Senior Lecturer in School of Engineering, Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus, Malaysia, Senior Research Officer and Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Wales Swansea. He is associate member of IMechE, UK, and member of ASME, US, Institute of Mathematics, SPE, and graduate member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia. He has published 15 research articles n journals as well as 40 international proceedings and 7 technical reports contributed as author/co-author.
