Dr Davannendran A/L Chandran is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. He lecture, prepare assessments, supervise undergraduate and postgraduate (MSc & PhD) students. He is a Teaching & Learning Coordinator under the Centre for Academic Excellence at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. He also a Researcher with the Centre for Corrosion Research at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. He perform research works, secure grants, publications, conference presentations, consultations and trainings. Research & consultancy areas: 1. Clean energy technologies (renewable/alternative fuel) 2. Metal corrosion and polymer degradation 3. Asset reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) modelling 4. Application of machine learning (ML) in Mechanical Engineering
