• PROF. DR Faiz Ahmad in teaching profession since Oct 2000 . Led several research projects of various disciplines of materials funded by Government and industry. Established, center for advanced and Functional Materials. The center has complete processing facilities for Grafting graphene,Nanocomposites for thermal management, Intumescent fire-retardant coating, soft magnetic material, bio-medical materials and hybrid fiber composites and machining. Worked closely with industry working on government funded projects. Supervised 30 post-graduate research projects under my direction.13 patents and two patents commercialized. Developed machine able hybrid fiber composite and glass fiber composites. Both materials have applications in automotive, aerospace and oil and gas industries. Several local and EU industries have signed NDA and negotiation for technology licensing is in progress.
