- Nur Asyraf Md Akhir is currently working as a lecturer and researcher at Petroleum Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Perak, Malaysia. She attained her MSc in Petroleum Engineering from UTP-Heriot-Watt University and BEng in Chemical Engineering from UTP. She currently pursues her PhD study on the usage of sacrificial agent in reducing surfactant adsorption for Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (CEOR) in Petroleum Engineering, UTP. She has 8 years of experience in teaching and research. She has completed a few internal, national, and industrial research projects on the nanoparticles-foam, surfactant-based chemical for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. Her research interests are in surfactant-based EOR, surfactant adsorption, and chemical sand consolidation.
