• Nurhayati Mellon is an Associate Professor from the Chemical Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). She completed her PhD from UTP in 2012, in the area of gas separation using high gravitational forces. She has been teaching at tertiary level for more than 15 years. She was appointed as the Deputy Head of Chemical Engineering in 2014. It was during this tenure that her passion in Engineering Education started. In achieving her mission to provide excellent and meaningful learning experience to Chemical Engineering students, she became one of the certified trainer for Active Learning in UTP.
