- Dr. Siti Nur Fathiyah Jamaludin is a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Malaysia. She holds a PhD and Master in Petroleum Geoscience from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from Curtin University of Technology in Australia. Her expertise includes tectonic and basin evolution of the South China Sea, geodynamic and structural interpretation, basin subsidence analysis and carbonate seismology. She has extensive experience in the petroleum industry, including years of working as processing geophysicist. She has also patented several innovations related to geophysical interpretation. Fathiyah has received several research grants and consultancy projects from PETRONAS, PERTAMINA, UNESCO and Erasmus. She is currently the advisor for the AAPG-UTP and Geological Society of Malaysia (GSM-UTP) student chapters and a member of the South-East Asia Clastic & Carbonate Research Lab.
